New to woodturning? Already a turner and ready to be the best you can be? We have you covered.

Learn from the best, whether your interest is in classic bowlturning, surface carving and embellishment, segmented turning, spindle turning, hollow vessels, or a host of other topics.

As a registered attendee, you will have access to over 120 demonstrations, panel discussions, special interest events and more, presented by 65 of the top woodturners in the world. Register for one day, or all three.

The AAW Symposium has been around since 1986, and attendance grows every year. Find out why the AAW Symposium is the best-attended woodturning event on the planet, with attendees coming from as far away as Europe, Japan, Africa, Australia.

Youth ages 10-18 attend free with a registered adult.

Are you a woodworking teacher employed at a high school, college, or tech school?
Teachers may attend the symposium for free with a membership. Memberships start at $43.

Attendee Spouse or Partner Craft Room
The spouses or partners of registered attendees are welcome to enjoy free demonstrations and hands-on instruction in making twisted copper bracelets, cupcake decorating, beaded bracelets, pen and ink drawing, and more. A trunk show will feature the work of lampwork bead artist Connie Parkinson.

You must be a member to attend the Symposium. Non-member rates include a regular one-year AAW membership.
